Permits can be obtained at the Police Department inside the records division. The address for the Police Department is 16401 Lakeview Drive, Jersey Village, Texas 77040. The phone number for the records department is 713-466-2120 and the hours of operation are 8-5 Monday through Friday.
There is a $50.00 (fifty dollar) processing fee and two small passport pictures are required for the permit. Applicants must pass a background check and the applicant must wear the permit when soliciting while in Jersey Village.
Applications will be processed within 5 days of submittal to the records department.
Certain groups such as some non-profits, religious groups, and political groups may not be required to obtain a permit. Please see chapter 50 of the Code of Ordinances for the rules in Jersey Village.
