Armed Robbery

At approximately 4:54 pm the Exxon Gas Station located at 17438 Northwest freeway was robbed by an armed suspect. The suspect was a Black Male approximately 5'10 ,wearing a Red University Of Houston baseball cap, White or light blue long sleeve Polo shirt, tan pants and Gray and White Nike's. Witnesses believed the subject to be between 40 and 50 years with a goatee as well as wearing sunglasses with blue tint. Video still shots will soon be available and posted.

Suspect vehicle was driven by someone else. The vehicle pulled in from Jones, did not pass the view of the Coaches camera, parked behind Pizza Hut, and the suspect exited the passenger side before walking in the north entrance to the Exxon. After the robbery, he walked back to the same vehicle, got in the passenger side, and the vehicle left toward Jones Road. Due to the very poor exterior cameras at Exxon, the following photos are the only images available of the suspect vehicle, an unknown make/model white passenger car.

If you think you see this, darker version of R. Kelly looking guy, during a traffic stop, especially in a vehicle that could match the get-away vehicle, please positively identify the male, and get a short video on your dash cam of his face and send an email to CID.

The handgun he was carrying may be a Ruger P89. Please take note if you see a black P89 with a silver hammer like the one in these frames, during a traffic stop or arrest. Contact Det. Limerick by phone immediately if you locate such a weapon in the next few weeks.
